In these times we all have lost something at some point. We all have experienced loneliness for the past few months of being quarantined in our own homes. We somehow just wish for everything to go back to normal.
BUT..
What if this is already the NEW NORMAL that we've been asking God for in our prayers?
With all the lost opportunities, wasted plans, try to stop and look around you. There's food on your table, a roof over your head and a family who loves you.
We may think that God is so unfair! But friend, maybe the reason why God is not changing the situation, but because He is hanging our hearts.
Personally, the past few months of quarantine were really challenging. I'm
still greatful because after all that is happening, I'm still alive.
Many people have lost their loved ones. Many employees lost their jobs. Our economy is going down. Online classes are unsual. We're not allowed to gather as what we were doing before. We cannot go outside anytime we want to. A lot has been happening to us in this world.
In this world, we would really have troubles but guess what? The Lord has overcome the world.
Everything was meant to happen for all to see His glory.
Jesus is doing something new!
Do we not see it? He's restoring our relationships with your family and with our loved ones. He us changing our hearts into forgiving those people who might have continously hurting us.
Jesus is bringing the nation's altogether. He is STILL WORKING! SOMETHING NEW IS HAPPENING NOW!
God is now making a way through that pain, that shame or guilt. He is now making a way for your heart to be restored in the mighty Name of Jesus.
Whatever it is that you might have lost, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT! For what God has for us in eternity is nothing compared to what we have now and what was behind us.
